Dentistry on the Blvd in Manhattan Beach, CA, is seeking a talented Dental Assistant or RDA to join our growing team. This on-site role focuses on chairside support, patient care, and high standards of infection control in a modern practice.

Qualifications

• Current DA or RDA certification/license in California preferred.
• Experience with chairside assisting in a dental office setting.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and dental equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental X-rays (digital radiographs) as directed.
• Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and updates in dental practice management software.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Provide a warm, welcoming experience that puts patients at ease throughout their visit.

Requirements

• Experience with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar) a plus
