Downtown Atlanta Dentistry in Atlanta, GA seeks a motivated Certified Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused team full-time. You will prepare rooms, sterilize equipment, assist during procedures, take x-rays and process lab work to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Take and process dental X-rays for patients.

Position: Full-time Dental Assistant

Location: Atlanta, GA

Our office is looking for a motivated and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our culture-driven team full-time. This is a patient focused office with a strong team. We are looking for a long-term addition who wants to find a permanent home.

Daily tasks to include:

• Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for providers
• Assisting providers during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs (taking final impressions for permanent indirect restorations, adjusting, and cementing permanent indirect restorations, making temps for posterior/anterior crowns/bridges and more)
• Taking and processing x-rays of patients
• Processing lab work for the providers
• Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments
• Advising patients on recommended treatment and post Op care
• Updating and maintaining health records
• Handling general administrative and other duties to optimize the practice
