Job summary

Yorba Linda Pediatric Dentistry in Yorba Linda, CA is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic DA/RDA to join our pediatric team. The role supports clinical operations by assisting during exams, cleanings, restorations, sterilizing, and performing coronal polish in a fun, child-friendly environment.

Full-time, Monday-Thursday plus every other Friday (half day). We value compassionate communication, attention to detail, and teamwork; experience with Eaglesoft is a plus, as are pediatric dental

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a DA/RDA in a clinical setting, preferably pediatric.
• Certification in coronal polishing is required.
• Certification in X-ray procedures is required.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, equipment, and infection control practices.
• Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus.
• Strong communication and patient-focused approach.

About the Role:

We are a fun pediatric dental office seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic DA / RDA to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our clinical operations by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, sterilizing, and performing coronal polish. The position is Full-Time. We work Monday-Thursday + every other Friday (half day).

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures including exams, cleanings, and restorations


• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients


• Take dental X-rays (radiographs) following proper safety protocols


• Document patient records accurately and maintain up-to-date charts in dental software (Eaglesoft familarity is a plus)


• Perform coronal polish procedures following certification requirements


• Maintain a thorough understanding of dental terminology, equipment, and procedures to support clinical operations effectively


• Provide a calm, reassuring presence to help young patients feel comfortable and at ease


• Support front office and clinical team with scheduling, patient flow, and daily operations as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a DA / RDA in a clinical setting, preferably with pediatric patients


• Certification in coronal polishing is required


• Certification in X-ray procedures is required


• Familiarity with dental terminology, equipment, and infection control practices necessary


• Ability to operate patient management software; experience with Eaglesoft is a plus


• Strong desire to learn and grow within the dental field


• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach toward patients of all ages


• Experience in a pediatric dental setting is a strong plus
