Job Overview

Marquette University is seeking a Dental Assistant - Prosthodontics to assist students, patients, faculty, and staff within the Dental School, primarily supporting the Graduate Program. The role involves providing instruction, assisting with patient care, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities

1. Assist and instruct dental students and patients, including handling emergencies, following the Clinic Operations Manual.
2. Teach four-handed dentistry techniques.
3. Maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies according to standards.
4. Coordinate student activities and monitor practice compliance.
5. Manage instrument and equipment distribution and maintenance.
6. Support group coordination, including scheduling and patient records management.
7. Participate in training and committee meetings as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of dental assistant experience.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures.
• Proficiency with x-ray technology, sterilization, and patient management.
• CPR certification.
