Eastview Family Dental in Lincoln, NE, seeks a Dental Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment. You will provide chairside assistance, manage records with Dentrix, and help ensure safety and quality dental care.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort and provide education throughout treatment.
• Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with adherence to safety protocols following OSHA & CDC recommendations.
• Manage supply and inventory levels, and place/expedite orders as needed.
