Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is hiring a Dental Assistant at Adams Dental Center in Lincoln, NE. You will greet patients, review health histories, and support clinicians with a range of procedures using updated technology.

Ideal candidates bring dental assisting certification and may need X-ray certification. You will work in a team-focused, patient-first environment with strong safety protocols and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Certification in dental assisting and X-ray where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients throughout their visit and educate them as needed.
• Review patient health histories for quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and digital images (iTero 3D scanner, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures following safety protocols.
• Assist with scheduling and record keeping in Dentrix.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain OSHA & CDC standards.
• Manage supplies and place orders to support office workflow.
