Job summary

EndoCare Group - Alameda is seeking a Dental Assistant to support a busy specialty practice. You will greet patients, prepare them for treatment, and assist the dentist using four-handed techniques.

You’ll sterilize instruments, manage records, and help with scheduling and payments. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, knowledge of dental instruments and OSHA standards, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of proven experience as a dental assistant, especially in specialty settings.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and preparing them for treatment.
• Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Sterilizing instruments and keeping the room stocked and clean.
• Scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
• Assisting with payment procedures and office tasks as needed.
• Providing patient oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Coordinate other office responsibilities as required.
