Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant for Refresh Dental in Southfield, MI. The role supports the dentist and team with clinical procedures, patient prep, and documentation. Schedule is Monday-Thursday and Friday shifts with dedicated hours.

Ideal candidates have an active dental assisting certification, radiography/X-ray certification, and CPR certification, with 1-5 years preferred or new graduates welcome. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting and instrument setup.
• Record health histories and document as directed by the dentist.
• Set up trays and instruments based on daily schedule.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments and maintain asepsis per OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including radiographs.
