North American Dental Group is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant for its Refresh Dental practice in Center Line, MI. The role supports dentists with clinical procedures, patient preparation, and radiography while upholding high standards of infection control and patient education.

The position offers full-time hours with a schedule Monday-Thursday 8:15am-5:00pm and Fridays as needed, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the NADG network.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.
