Brookside Dental Care in Allentown, PA is seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant to join a patient-centered team in a full-time role. You will prepare rooms, assist chairside, sterilize, take radiographs, and educate patients.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or on-the-job training.
• Active dental assistant certification/license as required by state law.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.
• Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories.
• Take dental radiographs and impressions as directed by the dentist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts in the practice management system.
• Monitor inventory and inform Clinical Lead or Office Manager of supply needs.
• Follow OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA protocols to ensure patient and team safety.
• Support a team-first culture and uphold Brookside Dental Care's values in every interaction.
