Job summary

Aspen Dental in Allentown is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the clinical team, perform dental X-rays, set up and break down operatories, and help manage patient flow with a focus on infection control and patient comfort.

You will join a collaborative practice with a strong training program, flexible scheduling, and a benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and free CE through TAG U.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification if required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team to provide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
