You will complete intake paperwork, update records, sterilize and organize tools, and assist during procedures while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited dental assisting program.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• State certification to practice dental assisting.
• Compliance with state dental practice requirements (x-ray, OSHA).
• Strong computer skills with dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in clinical treatment of patients.
• Maintain patient attentiveness and care quality.
• Keep treatment room clean and sterilized per OSHA.
• Manage patient records per HIPAA/state regulations.
• Prepare and monitor dental lab cases.
• Track referrals to/from other doctors.
• Keep treatment rooms stocked at all times.
• Support reception tasks as needed (phones, paperwork).
• Perform expanded functions as assigned by the dentist.
