Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and specialists in a fast-paced clinical setting in Illinois.

You’ll prepare patients, assist during examinations and procedures, and help educate patients on post-treatment care while maintaining high standards of infection control. You’ll collaborate with dental professionals to create a welcoming patient experience, build clinical skills through hands-on training, and grow with a supportive team focused on quality dentistry

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive, dependable and willing-to-learn attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records, when permitted by state regulations and within credentials.
• Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
• Create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.
