Job summary

Grant D. Ringler, DDS is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join a dedicated team in Hutchinson, KS. You will support the dentist in clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring patient comfort and high-quality care.

The role requires at least 2 years of dental assisting experience and CDA or RDA certification; EFDA or radiology credentials are a plus. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–5:30pm, with opportunities to grow skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years dental assisting in a clinical setting.
• CDA or RDA certification required; EFDA or radiology a plus.
• Knowledge of sterilization, infection control and dental instruments.
• Experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft practice software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for treatments, ensuring comfort.
• Set up instruments and assist with 4-handed dentistry.
• Follow sterilization procedures and infection control.
• Assist with lab tasks and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain patient records, charts, and treatment documentation.
• Assist in scheduling and keep the office organized.
• Perform non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing where certified.
