Job summary

Pottstown Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant in Pottstown, PA. The role supports dentists with patient prep, imaging, sterilization, and charting in a modern practice using up-to-date technology.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience, CPR certification, and a preference for DANB certification. This is a full-time, on-site position offering competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of dental assisting experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• DANB Certification preferred.
• State-specific licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments for tray setups before dental procedures.
• Take diagnostic digital imaging as prescribed by the dentists.
• Practice within the legal scope of assistant duties with or without certification, depending on state regulations.
• Maintain meticulous records on patient charts and documents.
• Setup and breakdown rooms according to infection control protocols between patients.
• Communicate patient and equipment needs with co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned by Practice Leader and/or Dentist.
