Pottstown Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Pottstown, PA is seeking a knowledgeable Dental Assistant to join our patient‑focused team. You will help the dentist set up equipment, educate and prepare patients for treatment, assist during procedures, and accurately record and document care while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout every visit.

This full‑time role emphasizes adherence to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines, proper instrument sterilization, and meticulous chart management.

Qualifications

• At least one year of dental assisting experience and CPR certification.
• Current license/certification requirements vary by state; DANB preferred.
• Adhere to OSHA and HIPAA policies and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, pleasant manner.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments for tray setups.
• Take diagnostic imaging as prescribed by the dentists.
• Maintain meticulous records on patient charts and documents.
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Adhere to infection control protocols between patients.
