North American Dental Group's Corner Dental in Sylvania, OH is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support clinicians, prepare patients for treatment, and maintain high standards of asepsis and safety.

Qualifications

• Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training.
• 1-5 years experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific) required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.
