North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant at Corner Dental in Toledo, OH. You will provide comprehensive clinical support, preparing patients for treatment and assisting the dentist in restorative procedures to ensure smooth, efficient visits.

The role requires a Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent training, radiography certification, CPR, and comfort with charting and equipment sterilization.

Formación

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting and operatory setup/cleanup.
• Record and review patient health histories; make chart entries under the dentist's direction; ensure documentation is complete.
• Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis per OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.

Conocimientos

Dental Assisting Certification
