Drs. Grant & Conger in Dalton, GA are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our clinical team on a part-time basis.

You will assist dentists, prepare treatment rooms, take X‑rays, and help educate patients on oral hygiene while maintaining a friendly, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience, holds a Registered Dental Assistant credential with X-ray certification, and supports infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• One year or more on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
• Registered Dental Assistant required.
• X-Ray certification required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
• Assist dentist in managing dental/medical emergencies with CPR readiness.
