Job Requirements

Starting Pay Range: $18.00/HR to $22.50/HR

Part-Time Opportunity – Rotating Schedule (2 Weeks On, 2 Weeks Off)

This part-time position follows a unique rotating schedule, working Monday through Friday for two consecutive weeks each month, followed by two weeks off.

What You Will Do As a Dental Assistant

• Maintain patient information; update records or forms, health summaries, and medical information electronically or manually as needed.
• Provide set-up, breakdown, and cleaning of all dental units as well as proper barrier placement to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental environment.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Dental Assistant, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Formal education in Dental Assisting or at least 5 years of professional Dental Assistant experience
• Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and instrumentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and fostering a positive patient experience
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
• Knowledge of dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus
• Ability to provide chairside assistance and anticipate the needs of the dental provider
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 10 pounds
