Hero Practice Services is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in delivering high quality, compassionate care to all patients. This at-will position will help ensure smooth patient flow and accurate records in a busy pediatric-focused practice.

This role offers competitive pay with a hourly pay range and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K, along with paid time off and holidays.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus.
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records.
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist.
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed.
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health.
• Organize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards.
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.

Pay range: $20.00-$28.00/hr
