Job summary

Adventure Dental in Midwest City, OK is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to all patients.

Pay range: $16–$24/hr. The role includes benefits such as PTO, holidays, and opportunities for growth within the practice and region, along with medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401K options.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training to meet state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multitask and complete dental tasks accurately and promptly.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) is a plus.
• Previous dental office experience is preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise patient records.
• Obtain dental radiographs as requested by the dentist.
• Record notes to match services performed in the chart.
• Educate patients and parents on good oral health.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-standard workstations.
• Keep the practice clean and presentable (restrooms, lobby, etc.).
• Support mission with high-quality dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Adventure Dental in Midwest City, OK, is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.
Pay range: $16-$24/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
