Centurion Health is seeking a Part-time Dental Assistant to join the team at Farmington Correctional Center in Farmington, Missouri. The role involves chairside dentistry support, instrument sterilization, operatory prep, radiographic work, and related admin duties in a correctional setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a dental assisting program or six months of experience, MO DA license or eligibility, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or six months of experience preferred.
• Missouri DA license or ability to obtain license.
• Certification as an expanded duty dental assistant preferred; if the candidate does not possess a current certificate, one must be obtained in the first year of employment.
• Certification and/or previous experience performing dental x-rays preferred.
• Must maintain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a Part-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Farmington Correctional Center located in Farmington, Missouri.The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision, assisting the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.
