Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri. You will assist the Dentist and Hygienist, sterilize instruments, and help maintain the dental operatory in a correctional setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a tech program or six months’ experience. MO DA license or ability to obtain, plus CPR and x-ray certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or six months’ experience as a dental assistant is required.
• Missouri DA license or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and maintain the operatory.
• Operate radiographic equipment and handle related admin tasks.
