Job summary

Gentle Dental is seeking an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant (OS) in Vista, CA. This role supports patient treatment, room prep, and documentation, ensuring high standards of infection control and patient care.

Responsibilities include taking records, assisting clinicians, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient office environment. This is a limited part-time position with a pay rate DOE.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting Program.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• 8-Hour Infection Control Certificate.

• Assist during patient treatment and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are ready for patient care.
• Take diagnostic records, including impressions, photographs, and radiographs as permitted by state regulations.
• Provide exceptional patient care and education throughout treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support a positive patient experience by creating a welcoming and professional environment.
• Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure efficient office operations.

• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification
