Job summary

The Tufts University School of Dental Medicine seeks an experienced Dental Assistant to support the Oral Surgery clinical area. This role may be filled as either a Dental Assistant or Senior Dental Assistant based on experience, with primary assignment in Oral Surgery and potential cross-coverage in other clinics.

Responsibilities include four-handed assisting, preparing treatment areas, maintaining infection control, and collaborating with faculty, residents, students, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Massachusetts Dental Assistant License required.
• Experience in sterile technique and assisting multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide four-handed dental assisting in Oral Surgery.
• Prepare treatment areas, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Support patient flow and maintain a safe, organized clinic.
• Adhere to infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Assist with oral surgery and other duties within scope.
• Communicate operational needs to CSS supervisor.
