Tufts University School of Dental Medicine is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support the Orthodontics clinical area. The role may also cover other clinical areas based on needs and training. 40 hours per week, with schedule flexibility to 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.)

The successful candidate will support faculty, residents, and students, maintain a safe clinical environment, and follow infection control standards. Massachusetts licensure and radiology certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED.
• Experience with patient care system.
• Dental Assistant: 0-2 years of experience.
• Senior Dental Assistant: 3-5 years of experience.
• Massachusetts Dental Assistant License and Radiology Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical assisting support to faculty, residents, and students in Orthodontics.
• Prepare treatment areas, instruments, materials, and equipment for scheduled procedures.
• Support efficient patient flow and maintain a safe, organized clinical environment.
• Assist with orthodontic procedures and other clinical activities within the Dental Assistant's scope of practice.
• Follow infection prevention, sterilization, and clinical safety standards.
