Job summary

Timberline Oral Surgery & Dental Implants in Spokane, WA is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant for a Full-Time role offering 30 hours per week across 3 days. Compensation ranges from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, with travel to Hayden, ID as needed.

You will support an exceptional surgical team, preparing rooms, assisting during procedures, and maintaining patient comfort and safety. Growth opportunities exist in a fast-paced, modern practice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Oral Surgery Dental Assisting experience.
• Current Washington Dental Assistant registration.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of oral surgery procedures, instrumentation, and patient care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to Hayden, Idaho as operational needs grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during a variety of oral surgery procedures.
• Wisdom teeth extractions and surgical extractions.
• Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments.
• Monitor and support patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Ensure OSHA and infection control standards are followed.
• Deliver compassionate patient care and clear communication.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum2 years of Oral Surgery Dental Assisting experience
• Current Washington Dental Assistant registration
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of oral surgery procedures, instrumentation, and patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel to ourHayden, Idaho location as operational needs grow

Preferred:

• DAANCE Certification
• Washington Dental Anesthesia Assistant certification
