Columbia Basin Oral Surgery seeks a Dental Anesthesia Assistant (DAA) to join our surgical team in Washington. Under supervision of a licensed surgeon or anesthesiologist, you will assist with IV sedation and general anesthesia, prepare IV medications, and monitor patients throughout procedures.
The role requires completion of a Washington DDA certification and hands-on IV access training, including at least 10 successful IV starts.

This is a full-time, onsite position requiring in-person attendance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States and must reside within the U.S. for the duration of employment.
Join our surgical team as a Dental Anesthesia Assistant (DAA) and play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced oral surgery environment. Under the direct supervision of a licensed oral and maxillofacial surgeon or dental anesthesiologist, you will assist with administering IV sedation and general anesthesia. Your responsibilities will include preparing IV medications, initiating and maintaining IV lines, monitoring patients throughout sedation procedures, and responding to emergencies when needed.
To qualify for this role in Washington State, applicants must complete a commission-approved DAA training program and demonstrate hands-on IV access training, including a minimum of 10 successful IV starts on a human or simulator. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety are essential to success in this role.
