Mint Dental Care in Centerton, AR is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our supportive team. No prior dental experience is required; on-the-job training is available.

You will welcome patients, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist the dentist in four-handed dentistry, and help with patient records and scheduling.

Active Arkansas Dental Assistant License and CPR/Nitrous certifications are preferred but not required to start; benefits, training, and 401K are available.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas Dental Assistant License is required or on-the-job training will be provided
• Current CPR and Nitrous Certification may not be required to start but are offered/certified
• No prior dental experience is required; on-the-job training available

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups and ensure comfort
• Set up instruments, equipment, and materials
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist dentist in four-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain patient records and assist with payments
• Assist with medical and dental emergencies as needed
• Record patient histories and vital signs
• Maintain inventory and order supplies
