Job summary

Mint Dental Care in Centerton, AR is hiring a Dental Assistant to support our four-doctor, nine-hygienist, ten-assistant team. You will welcome patients, prepare treatment rooms, and assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and accurate records.

We offer on-the-job training, and certifications from CPR/Nitrous aren’t required to start. Strong computer skills, reliability, and a willingness to learn are valued traits in a caring, community-focused

Qualifications

• Has an active Arkansas Dental Assistant License NOT REQUIRED TO START.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
• When necessary, assist dentists in the management of medical and dental emergencies
• Making sure medical and dental histories, as well as patient vital signs, are gathered and recorded
• Maintain dental equipment inventory and order dental supplies

Our office has been open for 8+ years. We are privately owned with 4 doctors, 9 hygienists, and 10 assistants in Centerton, Arkansas. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 7:30am - 7:30pm Patients seen from 8:00am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-7:00pm
