Job summary

Specialty1 Partners is hiring a Dental Assistant to support patient care in our Marietta and Hiram offices. You will welcome patients, prepare them for treatment, and assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry.

You will maintain instruments, sterilize equipment, manage records, and help with scheduling. A state X-ray license is preferred and flexibility to travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as a dental assistant, preferably in a dental office.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks.
• Good computer skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the dental office and preparing them for treatment.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies, and sterilize as required.
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain patient records and schedule appointments.
• Travel between Marietta and Hiram offices as required (3 days Marietta, 1 day Hiram).
• Maintain a clean, stocked dental room and assist with other office duties.
