Job summary

Osseo Family Dental is growing and welcoming a dedicated Dental Assistant to our Osseo, MN practice. We value patient-centered care, teamwork, and flexible scheduling, including Fridays, to support our patients and staff.

We seek either a Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) or an unlicensed assistant with radiology certification recognized by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry. Competitive pay and benefits are offered based on employment status and experience.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota LDA credential or qualifications to work as an unlicensed dental assistant with current radiology certification recognized by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• A positive attitude and willingness to support teammates.
• Experience with Open Dental is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with general and restorative dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and support efficient patient flow.
• Take diagnostic dental radiographs in accordance with Minnesota requirements.
• Follow sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for during their visits.
• Assist with patient education and treatment coordination.
• Work collaboratively with our dentists, hygienists, and administrative team.
• Perform clinical duties appropriate to your licensure, training, and qualifications.

Schedule & Availability

Our office hours are:

Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Friday availability from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM is required.

Morning availability Monday through Thursday is a priority. We're flexible regarding the number of weekdays and afternoon hours for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

Assist dentists with general and restorative dental procedures.

What We're Looking For

Current Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credentialOR qualifications to work as an unlicensed dental assistant with current dental radiology certification recognized by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.

General dentistry experience is a plus.

Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.

A positive attitude and willingness to support teammates.

Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental practice.

Experience with Open Dental is a plus, but not required.
