Job summary

Eastgate Modern Dentistry in Bellevue, WA is seeking a dental assistant. You will learn and perform basic duties under the dentist's supervision, contribute to a positive patient experience, and support efficient chairside procedures.

No prior dental experience is required, and customer service experience is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, CE units, PTO, tuition reimbursement, child care assistance, 401K, and weekend shift premium where eligible.

• Customer services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under the direct supervision of the licensed dentist.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on patient needs.
• Learn infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning for safety.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures after completing radiation safety requirements.
• Prepare for patient care and hand off to the front desk for follow-up appointments.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist.
• Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital chart as directed by the dentist.
• Support patient care by presenting treatment records and consents to the dentist.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
