Eastgate Modern Dentistry in Bellevue, WA is seeking an entry-level Dental Assistant. No prior dental experience is required, but customer service is preferred.

You will learn basic assisting duties under the dentist's supervision, support patients and the team, and help ensure a safe, positive dental experience. Responsibilities include performing basic assisting tasks, radiographs after safety steps, charting, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Customer services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting duties under the dentist's supervision.
• Participate in patient experience to ensure comfort and care.
• Follow infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral photos after safety requirements are met.
• Prepare for procedures and provide chairside support and patient handoff.
• Instruct patients on post-treatment care and oral health.
• Record charting and treatment notes in the digital system.
• Present treatment records and consents to the dentist before treatment.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and other regulations.
