Michigan Medicine seeks a Dental Assistant to support chair-side procedures, patient preparation, and radiography at the Med Inn OMFS/HD Clinic in Ann Arbor. You will work closely with dentists, dental students, residents, and faculty, ensuring efficient flow and patient comfort.

You'll handle instrument processing, radiographs, charting, vitals, and clinic setup, with opportunities for professional growth. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours, 7:30am–5:00pm, with hybrid work options as approved.

Competenze

• BLS certification and a certificate in Radiography.
• Associate degree in Dental Assisting preferred.
• CDA and/or RDA certification desirable.

Mansioni

• Assist in a wide variety of chair-side procedures using the principles of four-handed dentistry.
• Specializing in treatment of medically and/or mentally compromised patients with dental students, residents, and faculty.
• Perform general assisting duties including processing contaminated/sterile instruments, setup/teardown of rooms, seat patients and prepare for treatment, assist with pre-treatment health checks, take vitals, obtain consents.
• Coordinate and maintain inventory, ordering and distribution of dental supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Expose and develop radiographs according to standard procedures or specific instructions.

Formazione

BLS certification

Certificate in Radiography

Associate degree in Dental Assisting

CDA and/or RDA certification
