Dental Assistant - Instructor - Mornings - M-F

Join us at Ross Education as a Dental Assistant - Instructor - Mornings - M-F.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Dental Assistants to become fully trained instructors for year-round morning classes (9-23 hours/week) and evening classes, with opportunities as Primary Scheduled Instructors or Secondary Instructors for teaching assistants and substitutes. Our classes operate throughout the year.

Responsibilities
  • Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom, managing 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
  • Deliver lectures and demonstrations based on Ross's curriculum and lesson plans.
  • Conduct class sessions lasting 4.5 hours, during day or evening hours.

Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in the dental field, with a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB). Formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross is preferred. Alternatively, 5+ years of experience with a national certification qualifies.
  • Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm to learn, and growth mindset.
