Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in the field as a Dental Assistant.
• Graduated from an accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• Current certification as CDA/RDA or licensed dentist; proficient in hand and/or six-handed dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Plans, teaches, directs, and supervises all student learning experiences in the classroom, skills lab, and clinical areas.
• Develops, implements, manages, and teaches a curriculum that will qualify persons for employment in a dental office setting.
• Oversees laboratory instruction and provides hands-on classroom and lab teaching while ensuring safety.
• Prepares course of study, objectives, and daily lesson plans; participates in student placement activities.
• Attends meetings and performs other duties related to this position.
