Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant Instructor to lead Friday morning classes in Knoxville, TN. You will teach clinical and administrative skills to a cohort of 10–20 students and follow Ross curricula.

The role includes performing demonstrations and assisting with continuous student support. Qualified candidates have 3+ years in dental assisting with national certification (RDA or CDA).

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in dental assisting and national certification.
• 5+ years’ experience with national certification may qualify in some states.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach in dental assisting classroom with 10–20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross curriculum and lesson plans.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours and run year round on Fridays.

We are looking for experienced DA's to become fully trained instructors to teach scheduled year round Friday morning classes. Full Paid Training.

Morning classes run M-F 8:30-1

Dental Assistant Instructor duties include:

• Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.


• Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.


• Class sessions are 4.5 hours

DA QualificationsRequirements

• 3+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB) and formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross.


• If you do not have the formal education, you can also qualify with 5+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification. *additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements


• Interest in teaching or prior experience


• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow
