$18.75-$26.25/Hourly

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions in accordance with the applicable state’s Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties under the direct supervision of the licensed dentist
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by learning how to keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending to their individual needs and concerns
• Learn how to effectively complete proper infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning to ensure safety
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures after the DAT has completed all state requirements regarding radiation safety
• Prepare for patient care procedures and execute efficiently, including patient preparation, tray setup, chairside support, and patient handoff to front desk
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist
• Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital patient chart as directed by the dentist
• Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents, and health history to the dentist prior to treatment
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.)

Qualifications

• No prior dental experience required
• Customer service experience preferred

Compensation: $18.75-$26.25 per hour
