Responsibilities

1. Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under the supervision of a licensed dentist, following state regulations.
2. Participate in creating a positive patient experience by addressing individual needs and concerns.
3. Implement infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning to ensure safety.
4. Assist with radiographs and intra-oral pictures after completing all radiation safety requirements.
5. Prepare for patient care procedures, support chairside support, and facilitate patient handoff to the front desk.
6. Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care as directed by the dentist.
7. Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital system.
8. Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents, and health histories to the dentist.
9. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Qualifications
