Job summary

Harvey Dental Group in Villa Rica, GA seeks an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team in a general dentistry practice with a focus on implants and clear aligner treatment.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Responsibilities include assisting chairside, taking X-rays, intraoral scans, sterilizing, and maintaining patient records in Open Dental. CPR and X-ray certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred
• Experience with iTero scanners preferred
• General dentistry experience required; implant and clear aligner experience a plus
• Proficient in taking and reading dental X-rays
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during general dentistry, implant, and clear aligner procedures
• Take and process digital X-rays
• Take intraoral scans using iTero
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Provide attentive, compassionate patient care throughout each visit
• Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
• Support front office and clinical team as needed to keep the schedule running smoothly
