Benevis seeks a Full-time Dental Assistant in Bryan, TX to join our team. Expect a 32+ hour work week with alternating Mon-Fri and Tue-Sat shifts. TX RDA certification and CPR/BLS are required; 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• X-ray certification is preferred by state and practice.
• Certified dental assistant credentials are preferred by state and practice.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents of minors and patients through processes before treatment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts where location permits.
• Ensure hygiene bay and operatory rooms are ready for use.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Mix materials for procedures and prepare impression materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs and rooms.
• Assist dental staff during treatment and document patient information.
• Support suctioning, retractors, and suture cutting during procedures.
• Pour, trim and polish impression casts; fabricate test trays.
• Adhere to regulations and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
