Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dental providers with chairside assistance, patient flow and inventory control. You will work in a fast-paced clinic environment, ensuring clean, compliant practice and high-quality patient care using four-handed dentistry.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program, and at least two years of experience; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Have completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute or equivalent.
• Must have 2 years working experience.
• All Dental Assistants must keep a current Dental Assistant Registration.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry.
• Escort patients to and from treatment rooms and maintain professional conduct.
• Complete charting in Dentrix using SOAP or PARTS formats.
• Obtain blood pressure readings and other vital signs as directed.
