We are recruiting for the following position:
Hourly Rate: $24.28
Full‑time Dental Assistant III position available for our Burien Dental Clinic. The candidate will assist the dental provider in the delivery of dental procedures allowed by the WA State Dental Practice Act. Other responsibilities are as follows: assist provider in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery procedures, and any other procedures allowed by the WA Dental Practice Act. As a Dental Assistant III applicant must be knowledgeable of the proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations including Quality Improvement. Must be able to duplicate and mount radiographs, place temporary restorations, take impressions, pour and trim models, place retraction cord, place matrix bands, perform coronal polish and give fluoride treatments. Duties include maintaining proper records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore test, inventory of dental supplies, assist in training new Dental Assistants and organize schedules to generate check lists for maintenance of dental procedures.
