Paycom - ATS in Roseville, CA is seeking a Dental Assistant II to support the patient care team in a fast-paced dental practice.

The role requires Dental Assistant Certification, CPR, Infection Control, Radiation, and Coronal Polishing certificates, plus KCDO competency. You will prepare treatment areas, assist dentists, take x-rays, perform cleanings, and chart patient care. HIPAA/OSHA/ADA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

Dental Assistant Certification is required.
Current CPR certification required.
Infection Control Certificate required.
Radiation Certificate required.
Coronal Polishing Certificate required.
Completion of KCDO competency assessment.
Upbeat personality is a MUST.
Loves working with children.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Clean, neat professional appearance.
Knowledge of Dentrix a plus.
Travel to other office locations as required.

Responsabilités

Prepare office with daily opening and closing duties.
Prepare treatment area for patient by following procedures and protocols.
Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting and seating patient.
Assist the doctors during treatment procedures.
Perform dental infection control procedures.
Take x-rays.
Perform cleanings.
Perform all lab related procedures.
Hand off patient at check-out.
Complete care calls and thank you cards.
Assist in managing and controlling supply inventory.
Document dental care services by charting in patient records.
Maintain strict compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board, etc...).
Maintain safe and clean working environment.
Other duties as assigned.
