Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Certification is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Infection control certificate is required.
- Radiation safety certificate is required.
- Coronal polishing certificate is required.
- KCDO competency assessment completed.
- Loves working with children and delivers excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare office with daily opening and closing duties.
- Prepare treatment area following procedures and protocols.
- Welcome, seat and comfort patients before treatment.
- Assist doctors during treatment procedures.
- Perform dental infection control procedures.
- Take x-rays and perform cleanings.
- Carry out lab-related procedures.
- Chart dental care services in patient records.
- Maintain HIPAA/OSHA/ADA compliance and safe environment.
- Handle checkout handoff and post-visit follow-ups.
- Assist in inventory management and supply control.
- Travel to other office locations as needed.
