Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians in Siletz, Oregon, seeks a Dental Assistant II to support dental professionals in the Tribal clinic. You will assist chairside, manage records in Dentrix and Romexis, and prepare sterilized equipment for daily procedures.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires a high school diploma or GED, radiologic proficiency, and EFDA certification within six months, with a transition to Dental Assistant III after gaining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and Oregon state radiological proficiency.
• Must obtain Oregon Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification within six months from date of hire.
• Transition to Dental Assistant III after EFDA certification and one year of dental assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform chair side assisting for routine dental procedures.
• Record/scan all treatments in Dentrix or Romexis with accuracy.
• Process dental lab work orders and coordinate with outside labs.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean operatory.
• Expose and manipulate digital radiographs using the required software.
• Explain post-treatment instructions and preventive care to patients.
