Location: Ohio City Family Dentistry

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: M-F 8-4:30

Summary: Supports dentists in delivering high-quality dental care to diverse patient populations, from children to adults. Assists in providing efficient, effective, and safe services with compassion, aligning with the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Graduate of a Dental Assisting program
• One year of experience as a Dental Assistant
• Graduate of a foreign-accredited dental or hygiene school

Additional requirements include:

• Current Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer license or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and in-home or outpatient clinics
• Reliable transportation to travel to various locations

Preferred: One year of experience as a Dental Assistant.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and occasional ambulation. Must have normal vision and hearing, with or without correction. Some exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals is possible.
