Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant II in Vancouver, WA. You will assist dental providers with four-handed techniques, greet patients, and manage charting in Dentrix and Allscripts PM. You will also help with inventory, sterilization, and basic patient education.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a DA program, WA registration, and BLS CPR within 90 days. Flu and TB screenings are required annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; DA II competency may be required for advancement.
• Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program is required.
• Registration with the Washington State DOH is mandatory.
• BLS CPR certification within 90 days and TB testing annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide four-handed chair-side assistance using standard dental procedures.
• Escort and assist patients; maintain professional communication with staff and patients.
• Document patient data in Dentrix and Allscripts PM systems.
• Maintain sterilization and OSHA standards across clinic areas.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of dental supplies; support training of new staff.
